A traveller, and a friend to the arts and sciences, has the pleasure o reading in the public prints of a laudable and patriotic plan, for which he congratulates the author, Mr. Austin, Drawing-master, of Knightbridge, for rendering his services to the public at half his usual terms, and free of the entrance money, at this crisis.

Mr. ASTLEY most respectfully informs the Nobility, Gentry, and others, that the present winter amusements at the Amphitheatre Riding-school, Westinster-bridge, London, will end on Saturday next; on which account the present exhibition, which has been honored with general approbation and applause, will be continued every evening.—The Dromedary from Grand Cairo, and last from the Strand, will be rode by Mr. Miller, clown to the Horsemanship.
