Expressly prepared, and more extensive than any ever given in this Metropolis.
An entire New Dance, composed by Mons. Mercerot, called
THE PROVINCIAL SAILORS,
In which will be given singular and pleasing Devices of Action, Figure, &c. with New Music, Dresses, &c.
A Musical Entertainment, (taken from history), called
WHITTINGTON AND HIS CAT.
The subject of this piece is too well known to need any delineation; but as the scenery annexed to this popular entertainment exhibits great ingenuity and art of the painter’s pencil, the effect produced by the disposition of the different pieces, (after the manger of Mons. Lougherbourg) renders description of the scenic department (which is entirely new, and very extensive, absolutely necessary.

EQUESTRIAN AND OTHER EXERCISES.
An entire new splendid Spectacle, consisting of Music, Dancing, Pantomimic Action, comic Singing, &c. called
ENGLAND’S JOY;
Or, HYMEN’S BANQUET.
This splendid and magnificent Spectacle will be assisted by a display of curious machinery, perhaps not to be equalled in the world, and unknown to the modern machinists in this country; the scenic part equally brilliant, and consists of many views, particularly Part of the Gardens at Brunswick, also the Country between Wolsembuttle and Brunswick likewise a View of Hymen’s Banquet, and a magnificent Saloon. The Entry of Jove, with a transformation of the Banquet to Jove’s Aerial Car, prior to his ascending, surrounded by Zephyrs, dispersing and bearing a circumference and extent of space, making the whole near 2000 square feet of moving clouds, in different Directions, with beautiful Transparencies, the Gift of the Deities, &c.
The whole Entertainment expressly prepared in honour of
THE ROYAL NUPTIALS.
The Decorations, Dresses, Machinery, Mechanism, &c. have been immediately fancied and executed by Mr. ASTLEY, Sen.
The whole to conclude with an entire new Grand Pantomime, called
THE FAIRY’S FANTASY,
Or, THE ENCHANTED MANOR.
With new Scenery, Machinery, Decorations, Dresses, Music, &c.
Interspersed with the greatest variety of Mechanical Changes, Magical Transitions, and wonderful Metamorphoses.
Doors open at Half past Five, and the Curtain ascends at Half past Six.

N.B. Those veterans returned from abroad, may apply to Mr. Astley, who will give each a free admission Ticket, specifying the particular night they may see the Amusements, conormsoly to his promise when on the Continent; and as the Carpenters have completely finished the temporary Building expressly prepared for that purpose, the first divisions will be admitted to-night, and 1000 in rotation every evening, as expressed on the Ticket, viz. Day of the Week, Date, &c. to which a strict attention is required, Mr. Astley will thank the non-commissioned officers to assist him in the above regulations.
