THIS present EVENING, will be presented, first time, a New Musical Comic Pastoral Spectacle, (with new Scenery and Music) called.
THE PETER GUNNERS;
Or, the First of September.
Mug, Mr. Connel; Dribble, Mr. Davis; Robin, Mr. Decastro;
And Bodkin, Mr. Johannot.
In the above will be pourtrayed [sic] the Humours of beating the Brush Wood, on Norwood Common; Dribble’s unfortunate attack on the ripe Fruit of the Pear-Tree and his melancholy Disasters, in consequence, in the Draw Well, &c.
First time, an entire new Pantomimical Dance (by Mons. Mercerot) called,
LES VENDENGEURS; or,
A Trip to Burgundy.
Colin, Mr. Mercerot; Headborough, Mr. L’Aurent; Father, Mr. Fox; Phillis, Mrs. Mercerot;
And Les Vendengeurs, by Twelve Figurantes.
In which will be introduced, the Manner of repairing the Grapes for the Vintage, with new Scenery, Machinery, Dresses, Music, &c.
First time, an entire new Entertainment, called,
THE CAROUSEL:
With its dependent Spectacle, consisting of Tilts and Tournaments, Dance, Exercises, l’Equitation; le jeu de la Bague, du Bouquet, &c. by the Intent Riders, mounted on
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 Horses.
With new Scenery, Machinery, Music, and particularly Dresses analogous to One Piece,
Principal Dancers—Mons. And Madame Mercerot.
Combatants.—The Small Sword, Messrs. L’Aurent and Mercerot; the Spear, Messrs. Collet ad Davis; the Broad Sword, Messrs. Taylor and Markham; the Battle Axes, Messrs. Marqui, Taylor, and Mr. Jenkinson; the Candidates for the Ring (on Horseback) Masters Saunders, Noah, Brown, and Taylor; J. and J. Coldspring.
A Musical Piece, called
RETRUNED FROM THE CONTINENT,
Or, The Milliner’s Shop.
Tiffany, Mr. Connell; Captain Myrtle, Mr. Whitmore; Major Sprightly, Mr. Decastro; Spruce, Mr. Fox; Timewell, Mr. Jeffries; Nelly, Mrs. Wallack; Nancy, Mrs. Jeffries, Fanny, Mrs. Decastro;

With new Dresses, Scenery, Machinery, &c.
In the Intervals of the Pieces,
HORSEMANSHIP, BY THE WHOLE TROOP;
Particularly a Continuation of
THE PONEY RACES,
By the best horses and Infant Riders in all England.
The whole to conclude with the last new, splendid and brilliant Pantomime, called
HARLEQUIN INVINCIBLE;
Or,
OH! CHE BOCCONE.
With a grand Display of curious Machinery, on an entire new principle.
In the course of the Pantomime (by particular desire) Mr. Johannot will sing the Warley Camp Pygman, and Peg Juniper’s whimsical description of the rear of a Camp.
The whole of this magnificent and interesting Spectacle to conclude with
CUPID’s GIFT;
And the Theatre, by means of new and singularly constructed Scenery and Machinery, arranged in different gradations, (apparently moving by Magic Power) forming the Stage into a Representation of
CUPID’s TEMPLE,
May be considered as one of the finest Coup de Theatres ever beheld.
Doors to be opened at Half past Five, and the Curtain ascends at Half past Six o’clock.
