Or, HARLEQUIN’s ESCAPE.
Interspersed with Songs, Duets, Quartets, Chorusses [sic], &c.
Also, (never exhibited) an entire new Musical Entertainment, under the direction of Mr. Astley, jun. called
THE GERMAN DOCTOR.
Likewise (never exhibited) an entire new Dance, composed by Mr. Lasselles, called Rustic Sports, or Win Her and Wear Her. Principal Dancers Mr. Lasselles and Mrs. Mercerot.
ROPE DANCING ON TWO ROPES.
One above the other, in a manner that will astonish the Spectators.
Never performed in London.
Mr. CARR will stand on his Head, in the centre of A GLOBE, and ascend 30 feet high, turning round like a Boy’s Top.
The INFANT ROSSIGNOL will imitate the Notes of various Birds, and also accompany the Band on a Dumb Violin.
The LITTLE PONEY, only thirty inches high, will go through his wonderful Performances.
Thirty-five new Acts of Horsemanship, by Mr. ASTLEY’s and HANDY’s unequalled horsemen.
A Trial of Skill by Twenty horsemen, and two surprising Females.
GROUND and LOFTY TUMBLING by BOTH TROOPS.
Also, the DOUBLE PONEY RACES,
The Entertainments to conclude with (never exhibited at the Amphitheatre of Arts) an entire new, grand, and entertaining Spectacle, from the Paris Copy, called
HENRY AND LOUISA,
THE FORCE OF LOVE; or, THE DESERTER OF NAPLES.
Got up under the inspection and entire direction of Mons. MERCEROT.

Doors to be open at half past Five, and to begin at half past Six precisely, with the DOUBLE DANCE ON TWO ROPES, which, from the necessary time required to prepare, the same will be fixed up prior to the opening of the Doors.
