THIS EVENING, AUGUST 15, 1796, will be presented, first time this Season, a Musical Entertainment, called
The CONVENT in an UPROAR; or, Cupid Pilgrim.
First time, a New Dance, by Mr. WEST, called
The WAPPING LANDLADY, with a Song, Mr. JOHANNOT.
In the Intervals, EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES.
Clown (for this night only) by Mr. HANDY.
Likewise Miss MARIAN and Miss SIMONET will perform various FEATS on TWO HORSES,
Assisted by Mr. HANDY’s 15 Performers, for the last time.
First time this Season, a Musical Piece, called
THE MILLINER’s SHOP.
EXTRAORDINARY TUMBLING, by BOTH TROOPS.
The whole to conclude (first time this Season) with a Pantomimic Olio, called
HURLY-BURLY;
In which will be introduced the favourite an laughable Spectacles, Situations, &c. solicited from several capital Pantomimes, viz.
The Magic [smudged] Harlequin, Emperor of the Moon;
Harlequin’s Gambols; The Magic Grot;
Neptune’s Friendship; The Dwarfs; and The Mandarin.
The Pantomime to conclude with
The CHILDREN of the SUN, and CELESTIAL TEMPLE.
Doors to be opened at half past Five, and to begin at half past Six precisely.
Boxes 4s. Second Price 2s.—Pit 2s. Second Price 1s.—Gallery 1s. Second Price 6d.—Second Price to commence at half past Eight o’clock, as usual.
Places for the Boxes to be taken of Mrs. Connell, at the Theatre, between the hours of Eleven and Three.
Servants to keep them are requested to be at the Amphitheatre precisely at Half past Five.
