The Theatre, Westminster Bridge, may be considered as the source of London Amusements; ASTLEY’s and HANDY’s Company are so eminent, and being assisted by such beautiful stage performances, as in our opinion renders it the best place of Public Entertainment in this Metropolis. The Advertisement in front of this paper speaks for itself in this particular.

A venerable matron is now living at Eaton, near Leominster, Herefordshire, of the name of MARGARET MAP, who, though in the 105th year of her age, perfectly enjoys all her faculties.

There is now growing on the stone-buttress of a chimney, at the above place, about four yards from the ground, an ash tree, in a very vigorous state, that has no root which springs from the earth. This tree is 30 years old, and measures about 38 inches in girth.
