SIXTH TOTAL CHANGE OF ENTERTAINMENTS.
Mr. HANDY and his Company of Equestrians, being re-engaged by Mr. ASTLEY, will perform their surprising Exercises, &c. every Evening this Week.
AMPHITHEATRE OF ARTS, WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE, by their Royal Highnesses the Prince of WALES and Duke of YORK’s Servants,
THIS EVENING, the 30th May, second time, the much-admired DOUBLE PONEY RACES, conformable to the Newmarket regulations for the King’s Plate, and for 100 Guineas.—Also, 2d time, An EASTERN SALE; or, The BANDITTI and CARAVAN.—Miss MARIAN will, in a surprising manner, Stand on her Head on JACOB’s LADDER, surrounded with Fire-Works, at which time the Ladder will fall to pieces, and leave her on her head on one side, eleven feet high.—Likewise, 2d time, a Ballet Pantomime, in Two Parts, called LA FILLE MAL GARDEE; or, THE WATCHFUL MOTHER DUPED.—And, for the 2d time, the INFANT ROSSIGNOL will imitate the Notes of various Birds, and accompany the Band on a Dub Violin; and also sing the Song of Old Towler.—Mr. Handy’s Little Poney, only 30 inches high, will go through his wonderful Performances and so more than any Horse in this kingdom.—Thirty-five New Acts of HORSEMANSHIP, by Mr. Astley’s and Mr. Handy’s unequalled Horsemen, the particulars of which are too numerous to insert.—A TRIAL of SKILL, by Twenty Horsemen; and TWO surprising Females, Miss MARIAN and Miss SIMONET, will go through several new Feats of Horsemanship. And the Taylor’s Journey to Frogmore Fete, by Mr. Handy’s Pupils and Horses.—To conclude with (2d time) a new Comic Pantomime, interspersed with new Songs, Duets, &c. particularly singular Machinery, Mechanical Changes, Decorations, Transformations, &c. called HARLEQUIN PERAMBULATOR; or, THE METAMORPHOSES. In the course of the Pantomime, Mr. JOHANNOT will sing a favourite new Song, called the Flying Dustman. The Pantomime to conclude with the most beautiful and magnificent Temple and Gardens of Vertumnus and Pomona.
