The Thirteenth Week’s Change of Performances.
AMPHITHEATRE OF ARTS, (ASTLEY’s) WESTMINSTER BRIDGE, by their Royal Highnesses the Prince of WALES and Duke of YORK’s Servants,
THIS PRESENT TUESDAY, and every Evening this Week only, will be presented, for the 2d time this season, a Musical Entertainment, called THE REASONABLE FOOL.—2d time this season, THE GRAND TROOP OF TUMBLERS will go through various pleasing Exercises.—2d time this season, a Grand Comic Pantomime, partly new, and partly compiled, called WHAT’s THAT I SEE?—The Pantomime interspersed with Comic Songs by Mr. Johannot; and variety of whimsical performances by Mr. Lassels, as Harlequin, and Mons. Laurent, as Clown. The part of Columbine by Mrs. Mercerot; and the other characters by the rest of the Company.—1st time this season, a favourite Burletta, called THE MISER.—In the Intervals of the Stage Amusements, and by particular desire, THE SIX DIISIONS SWORD EXERCISES, attack and defence, movements, &c. with a grand match, on the original Scotch scientific principle, by several professors. Also Equestrian Performances.—In the course of the Evening, the surprising CABINET OF MONKIES will exhibit a variety of singular feats of agility, &c. in a manner beyond all credibility.—2d time this season, the whole to conclude with a grand Heroic, Serio, Tragic Pantomime, as it appeared in Paris, in three parts, with a grand display of War Manoeuvres, single Combats with Broad Sword and Battle Exe, got up under the direction of Mr. Astley, jun. called THE FOUR BROTERS.—The Chorusses [sic], &c. all new, and expressly composed for the occasion.
