Author of the grand and much-admired Pantomime of the EGYPTIAN ORACLE, and which, by express and particular Desire, will be performed this night, for the last time this Season, as the numerous Scenery and Machinery must be sent immediately to Dublin.

AMPHITHEATRE of ARTS, (ASTLEY’s) WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE,

By their Royal Highnesses the Price of Wales and Duke of York’s Servants,

THIS present MONDAY, September 25, will be presented, first time these six years, a grand Heroic Spectacle, consisting of Song, Dance, and Action, (written and arranged by Mr. ASTLEY, jun.) called

BRITISH BRAVERY;

Or, THE ENGLISH BULL-DOGS TRIUMPHANT.

In the course of which, among a variety of interesting Situations, Combats, &c. will be pourtrayed [sic]

AN AMBUSCADE.

First time, an entire new Musical Olio, (written by Mr. ASTLEY, sen.) called

TIPPY JACK’s DESCRIPTION of DRIVING a GIG;

Or, Young GILPIN’s Journey to Hyde Park Corner,

In Dress and Character of the present Fashion,

By Mr. JOHANNOT.

First time, a new Comic Ballet, by Mr. LASSELLS, called

A CURE FOR THE DOCTOR.

After which a new Musical Piece, called

THE WIDOW AND NO WIDOW;

In which will be sung (by Mr. JOHANNOT) the favourite Songs of Paddy O’Brien; or, When I was first knitted; and She loves a snig Bit for her own private picking.

In the Course of the Stage Amusements, and in order to keep up a constant Succession of Entertainments,

VARIOUS EQUESTRIAN and other EXERCISES.

The whole to conclude (being most assuredly the last night of its being performed this Season) with the new much-admired Grand Serio and Comic Pantomime, called

THE EGYPTIAN ORACLE;

Or, HARLEQUIN CRIMINAL:

Interspersed with a most splendid variety of Scenery, Machinery, Mechanical Changes, Scenic Transformations, Metamorphoses, &c. suited to the Customs and Manners of the Egyptians, contrasted with the Europeans of the present day.

The Music, Songs, Duets, Chorusses [sic], Dances, Dresses, &c. entirely new, and analogous to the Piece.
