THE LAST FOUR NIGHTS.

Viz, Friday 13th, Saturday 14th, Monday 16th, and Tuesday 17th of October, 1797, on which day the Theatre will close for the season.

AMPHITHEATRE, ASTLEY’s, Westminster-Bridge, each Evening, as above,

1. A new Whimsical Pantomime, called Harlequin’s Whim.

2. Feats of Strength, Agility, and Various uncommon Exercises by the Grand Troop of Tumblers, Ladder Dancers, &c. &c.

3. An entire new Musical Piece, called the COMET, in which will be introduced various Comic Songs, analogous to the Piece.

4. A new Dance, called the SAVOYARDS.

5. Various Performances by the wonderful CABINET of MONKIES, being most assuredly the only time of their ever appearing in England, the Proprietor embarking for Hamburgh immediately.

6. Pleasing and Singular Equestrian Exercises. Also a compleat [sic] Match with a Broad Sword, by veterans in service.

7. The whole to conclude (17th time) with a new Pantomime, with splendid Scenery and Machinery, Metamorphoses, Comic Situations, &c. &c. called

WHAT WE ARE, NOT WHAT WE WERE.

In which will be pourtrayed [sic] various adventures, and extraordinary occurrences.

To begin each Evening at half past Six precisely.

Half price at Half past Eight.

Mr. Astley, grateful for past favours, most respectfully takes leave of the numerous visitors of the Theatre, Westminster Bridge; and begs to assure them, that the nest season he will continue his exertions, and still keep an eye to the same propriety and frequent change of Performances, which have been so much approved by the Nobility, Gentry, and Others.
