We take the opportunity to inform those persons who could not, for the overflow, obtain a sight of ASTLEY’s performances last night, that the whole will be repeated this evening. The introduction of a piece on the subject of French Rafts, under the title “A Peep into Dunkirk Bason,” met with a most warm reception. The Fool’s Cap proved a high treat to the laughter-loving throng, The Married Slaves were happily received, and a song introduced in this piece, in which the Blackbird’s not was sung in a most captivating manner, excited much applause. The Pantomime of the Genii of the Deep certainly does great credit to its inventor; and a Rattle-snake, composed of variegated fire in perpetual motion, raised the utmost astonishment of the house.
