Under the Patronage of his Excellency the TURKISH AMBASSADOR, and Fifteen of his Suite, who will be present.
[three star symbol] Mr. DAVIS, Riding-Master, begs most respectfully to announce, that having been engaged by Mr. ASTLEY to perform a certain time for a Benefit, he tales the liberty to solicit the patronage of his Friends and the Public in general, assuring them that he has arranged a most capital display of Entertainments, particularly in the Equestrian Department, by Three Troops, (viz. Mr. HANDY’s Troop, from Bath; Messrs. CROSSMAN and SMITH’s Troop, from the Circus; and Mr. ASTLEY’s Troop; in all Twenty in number) such as, he hopes, will ensure him a continuation of that support he has hitherto so liberally experienced.
THIS present MONDAY, June 25, by most particular desire, and first time these two years, the DOUBLE PONEY RACES, by the Infant Jockies and Infant Ponies.—Seventh night, the Grand Serio-Comic, Tragic, Pantommimic Spectacle, got up under the direction of Mr. Delphini, called LOVE AND CRUELTY, or the Spanish Monk Destroyed.—The Three Grand Companies of Horsemen, particularly the surprising Performances of the Trampoline over Men and Horses.—The whole to conclude with a Grand New Pantomime, replete with elegant and superb Scenery and Machinery, called WHAT WE ARE, not What we Were, or thr World Metamorphosed. In which will be interspersed a great number of Mechanical Deceptions, on a principle entirely novel, forming a Grand Display of Scenic Transformations; the whole being one of the most complete Magical and Whimsical Caricatures ever produced.
