THIS PRESENT MONDAY, August 6, and every Evening this Week only, will be presented a new Entertainment of Music, Singing, Dancing, &c. called LOVE and OPPORTUNITY. With various Comic Songs, by Mr. Johannot.—An entire new Divertissement, called THE HAY-MERCHANT’s MARRIAGE.—A Grand Serio-Comic, Tragic Pantomime, called THE SPANISH MONK DESTROYED. Taken from the popular Romance of The Monk, and got up under the direction of Mr. Dalpini, with entire new Scenery, painted by Messrs. Grieves, Seaward, Spitzer, Mathews, &c. with appropriate Dresses and Decorations.—And, for a few Evenings longer only, the conjunctive Exertions of Twenty of the most famous Equestrians in the world, heightened by a spirit of Emulation totally unprecedented, and perfectly astonishing—To conclude with an entire new Comic-Tragic Pantomime, called THE MAGICIAN OF THE ROCK, or Harlequin Celestial. With the greatest and most splendid variety of new Scenery and Machinery, Mechanical Changes, and Scenic Transformations ever produced; also new Dresses, superb Decorations, Music, &c. Harlequin, Mr. Lascelles; Columbine and Harlequin (with a Leap) Mrs. Mercerot; Clown, Mr. Collet; and Ballad-singer, Mr. Johannot, who will sing the New Cries of London (written and composed by My. ASTLEY, Senior). The other Characters by the rest of the Company. The Pantomime to conclude with a Representation of a GRAND CELESTIAL TEMPLE, with vertical Column, of singular construction.
