WHEREAS on Wednesday the 13th inst. About six o’clock, a poor old man, aged sixty-four, returning from his employ, was assaulted and ill-treated, near the Circus Turnpike, by William Parker, patrole [sic] of the Surrey new roads,--this is to request Mr. Bland and Mr. Fletcher, who were so obliging as to give Mr. Astley at Westminster bridge their names, to favour him with their place of abode, he having forgot to ask them for the same; as several other gentlemen were present, Mr. Astley begs they will favour him with their addresses.
