ASTLEY’s Theatre, Westminster-bridge—This present evening, second time, a new Comic Olio, called the Penitent Prude; second time, a new Divertissement, called the Bone of Contention; second time, a new Indian Delassement (taken from Captain Cook’s Voyages) with pure Indian Combats, &c. called the Barbarians, or Triumph of Innocence; second time, a new and splendid Pantomime, called Momus’s Motto, or Harlequin in Malabar, with superb and newly-constructed scenery, dresses, &c. to every Piece; second time, the grand and suprizing [sic] group of New Equestrian Performers on several Horses, assisted by a celebrated young Lady, being their second appearance in this kingdom. The famous Troop of Tumblers and Antipodeans will perform during the intervals, as will several Horses, displaying, without a rider, a sagacity surpassing credibility.—N.B. In consequence of the unbounded and reiterated applause bestowed on the above entertainments in general (on Mr. ASTLEY, junior’s benefit) by the most crouded [sic] and brilliant assemblage of fashion ever witnessed at this Theatre, and the same elegant routine will be repeated every evening this week only—longer Mr. ASTLEY cannot promise them, on account of the benefits taking place.
