EXTRAORDINARY ENTERTAINMENTS.
NUMEROUS EMINENT PERFORMERS.
The Curtain to rise at Six o’clock precisely.
ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE of ARTS, ASTLEY’s, Westminster-Bridge. Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and Duke of York’s Servants.
THIS present EVENING will be presented a Grand Ballet, in three Acts, with singularly Pantomimical Action, precisely as it is not performing in Paris, with great applause, called HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, or LA FILLE MAL GARDEE. Preceding the Ballet, the Company of Performers pf agility, from the Royalty Theatre, in the East, will, by way of Prelude, entertain the spectators as follows: viz. The Rope-Dancer, assisted by the inimitable Drolleries of the Clown.—A Pantomimical Dance, called An Old Head on Young Shoulders, in which the performance of Two Infants will astonish the spectators. The above persons will also assist in the various Amusements of the Evening, forming a coalition of Two Companies, the most numerous and eminent in their line in London. (Their 4th appearance at the West End of the Town). At the end of the Ballet, Mr. Astley, sen. will have the honour to introduce the astonishing LITTLE SPEAKING HORSE.—An Heroic Pantomime, in two Acts, founded on facts, called the AMERICAN HEROINE. The Plot taken from the Political History of the Colonies and Commerce of the Europeans in the East and West Indies. See Vol. V. page 271.—The famous Company of Horsemen will perform various EQUESTRIAN EXERICSES.—To conclude with a Grand Harlequin Pantomime, called THE GOLDEN DREAM, and the beautiful Musical Spectacle of the FOUR ENGAGEMENTS, or the HEROES OF THE SEAS; with its splendid dependent new Scenery, Machinery, Dresses, Nautical Decorations, Emblematical Devices, Songs, Chorusses [sic], &c.
