The uppermost seats at Astley’s Theatre were filled last night. Young Astley’s Moore, and Miss Smith’s Lamora, in the Pantomime of the Black Castle, are such a fine piece of acting, that the more frequent we see these two eminent performers, the greater is our astonishment: we must frankly acknowledge, that this Pantomime, for beautiful scenery, plot, and underplot, exceeds all. The spectators were much pleased with Mr. Astley, sen.’s excellent and superior manner of conducting the Horsemanship, but more so with his pupil, the curious Little Horse.
