179G (Vol. 2)

Transcription

Two serious pieces, so opposite in their subjects, yet so beautiful and impressive in their nature as those of Rolla and Cora, and the Black Castle, at the Westminster-bridge Theatre, may be deemed phoenomena [sic] as yet unseen at any place but Astley’s, and, as such, lessens the wonder why those two most excellent productions should overflow the Amphitheatre every evening.
