ASTLEY’s AMPHITHEATRE RIDING-HOUSE, WESTMINSTER BRIDGE.
This evening will be performed several DROLL PERFORMANCES and surprising feats of agility, accompanied by manly strength and activity; many Comic Scenes in the Chinese Shadows, or Lilliputian World, will be exhibited; the whole of this Exhibition is rational and pleasing; in short, no other public place of its kind, in all Europe, displayed, at one time, such variety; and that in a constant succession, the horses have been instructed to perform their Comic and Tragic parts in a manner beyond conception.
Doors to be opened at half past five, and to begin at half past six o’clock precisely.
[three asterisks-like symbols] Mr. Astley begs leave to inform the nobility, gentry, and others, that the above entertainments will (finally) close in a few days.
