In addition to the splendid Military Spectacle of the Capture of Seringapatam, the Amphitheatre at Westminster Bridge, last night, produced a most impressive and interesting Ballet of Action, founded on a circumstance that is said to have occurred in one of the settlements in America, where the superiority of British courage and humanity over the barbarity of Indian savages appears so conspicuous as to pourtray [sic] to the eye of the spectator one of the most fascinating pictures imaginable. The house, which was for Crossman’s benefit, overflowed in every part; and as we are given to understand that this pleasing Piece can only be represented the present week, the Amphitheatre promises to be crowded every night the house is open.
