Mr. Upton is said to be about adding a something more to the inimitable spectacle of The Inquisition, or the Maid of Portugal, in performance at the Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster-Bridge; the approbation of this highly distinguished piece being such, that it has but one fault; at last so says many a beautiful woman, who has been heard to declare, again and again, that “it is but too short.”—This night is to produce from additional novelties at this Theatre, in addition to the charming Pantomime of Quixote and Sancho, and other Entertainments.
