This evening a comic piece called the RECRUIT, two new dances, the first called RURAL INNOCENCE, the second called the FORCE OF LOVE; the principal characters of both dances by Mr. Legg, Mademoiselle Le Hereche and the female Vestris, Medemoiselle Constance. Rope Dancing, Tumbling, Rope Vaulting, and the roasted pig; horse vaulting, and divers[sic] other feats of horsemanship, on one, two, three, four, five, and six horses, by young Astley and others, the most eminent performers in the world; the dancing-horses and the little conjuring-horse; and various dancing on full speed, by young Astley; particularly the Peasant’s horn pipe and flag dance, and a new piece, called the Air Balloon, or all the World in the Clouds; in the second scene will be presented the manner of travelling through the air in the triumphant car, &c. and a most beautiful firework, in which will be introduced a salamander and other entertainments.
