The Public are most respectfully informed, that the New Comic Pantomime, which has been for some time preparing, is in great forwardness, and will shortly be produced, in consequence of which the present Popular Entertainments can only be repeated a few Evenings longer.

THIS and every Evening next week, will be presented, an entirely new Ballet, composed by Monsieur Mercerot, called The Marriage Dowry. Also, Twenty-fourth time, an entirely new Grand Spectacle, called THE INQUISITION, or The Maid of PORTUGAL; intended, through the Medium of Scenic Representation, to convey an idea of the peculiar and extraordinary Circumstances attached to such a Tribunal, and in the course of which will be pourtrayed [sic] a Celebration of an AHTO DA FE, or Act of Faith.—The Scenery, Machinery, Music, Dresses, and Decorations entirely new, and strictly adhering to the Costume of Portugal. In the course of the Evening, an entirely new Comic Duet will be sung by Mr. Johannot and Mrs. Wewitzer, called ANCIENT COURTSHIP, Also an entirely new Song, (written by Mr. Upton) to be sung by Mr. Johannot, called THE MONOPOLIZERS!—The most extensive Troop of Horsemen, consisting of Twenty Performers, including Messrs. Crossman, Handy, &c. &c. will go through their surprising and unparalleled EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES. After which (by desire) the Grand Troop of JUMPERS will fly over six Horses and Riders, a loose Pole Twelve Feet high, and from a dead Height Sixteen Feet.

An entire new Parody (written by Mr. Upton) on the celebrated Song of the Blue Bell of Scotland, to be sung in character of Poor Nan, by Mr. Johannot.

The whole to conclude with the last new Serio-comic Pantomime, called QUIXOTE and SANCHO, or HARLEQUIN WARRIOR. The whole invented, adapted for Stage Representation, and got up under the immediate superintendence of Mr. Astley, jun. In the course of the Pantomime will be introduced on the Stage TWO SQUADRONS of HORSE, mounted by Warriors clad in Gold and Silver Armour, who will go through various Evolutions of Ancient Warfare.
