Not only the holiday people, but people of the first rank and distinction in the kingdom honoured the Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, with their presence last night, which literally overflowed from all parts at an early hour. The new pantomime of Puss in Boots has been considerably altered and improved, and has to boast of the most beautiful scenery, particularly the view of Paris, and a Fairy’s Palace, ever seen in this kingdom. A new song called the Death of the Hare, was most sweetly sung by Miss Gray, and does credit to the pen of the author, Mr. Upton.
