The new grand military and naval Spectacle of British Glory in Egypt, having been received with unbounded applause from crouded [sic] houses, will be repeated every evening until further notice. Mr. Astley, jun. has also the honour to announce that from the numerous enquiries after Mr. IRELAND, the Original Flying Phenomenon, he is re-engaged for eight nights, and will appear This Evening after the above new military spectacle which commenced at 7 o’clock precisely.

THIS present Friday, and every Evening until further notice, will be presented an entirely new Military and Naval Spectacle, called BRITISH GLORY in EGYPT, written and arranged for Stage Representation by Mr. Astley, jun. Delineating, in twenty-one scenes, the whole of the Important Circumstances which took place from the 2d of March, when the British Fleet had anchored in Aboukir Bay, until the Glorious 21st, with the grand and decisive attack by real cavalry and infantry. To conclude with the Total Defeat of the French, and the Capture of the INVINCIBLE STANDARD, which is presented to the ever to be lamented Sir RALPH ABERCROMBY after having received his Death Wound. Previous to the above Spectacle, an entirely new Comic Divertisement of DARBY and JOAN. A new Ballad, written by Mr. Upton, to be sung in character by Miss Gray, called “The Death of the Hare!” Various EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES, by the first Performers in Europe. The whole to conclude with the last new Comic Pantomime, called PUSS IN BOOTS; or, HARLEQUIN AND THE OGRE! with the most extensive scenery and machinery ever produced. In which will be exhibited a correct View of the City of Paris, with the whole course of the River Seine.
