Under the Patronage of their Royal Highnesses the Prince of WALES and Duke of YORK,
THIS Present EVENING Mr. IRELAND will, for this night only, exert himself beyond credibility in the following Leaps and kicks:--1st, In the circle he will place 6 horses at 6 yards distance, and in full speed hop over them, going quicker round than many active men can run; 2d, He will place them double, and hop over them in like manner; 3d, He will place them treble, and with three paces hop over them, having six yards to throw himself from rise to fall—all this to be done upon the saw-dust; 4th, He will leap over a pole 10 feet high; 5th, Over forty men with a pole three feet above their heads, making together 9 feet high, besides going 21 feet in length; 6th, Will leap over a large tilted waggon; 7th, Hop, and kick an object 18 feet high; 8th and lastly, Will leap over 10 large horses, having from rise to fall 27 feet to throw himself—all these astonishing Leaps and Kicks to be performed without a Spring-board. The Entertainments consist of a new Grand Historical spectacle, written by Mr. Upton, and produced under the sole direction of Mr. Astley, jun. called FAIR ROSAMOND, or WOODSTOCK BOWER. Fair Rosamond, Mrs. Astley. 68th time, the grand Naval and Military Spectacle of BRITISH GLORY in EGYPT. In the course of the evening various EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES by the first Troop in Europe, particularly Mr. West will go through his unequalled performances. The whole to conclude with the comic Pantomime of The FAIRY, or, HARLEQUIN PRISONER.
