EXTRAORDINARY AMUSEMENTS,

THIS EVENING

AT ASTLEY’s AMPHITHEATRE,

WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE.

     The Troop of Horsemen and Horses which have been some time part exhibiting with uncommon applause, in several capital Towns in England, with Mr. ASTLEY, sen. Have This Day joined the Troop in London, for the purpose of going to Paris for the Winter Season. This junction will give the public an opportunity, (for a few days only) of feeling a trial of skill, and the most extraordinary display of Horsemanship ever exhibited. Young ASTLEY at the Head of both Troops.

Likewise this Evening, the pleasing Exhibition of

Many comic Scenes, particularly the BROKEN BRIDGE :

A New Musical Piece, called

The RIDICULOUS COURTSHIP; or, The REASONABLE FOOL.

A Pantomime Dance, called

The   M A R A U D E R :

Or, A PEEP at ALGIERS.

New Dresses, Music, Scenes, and Machinery, exhibiting a striking VIEW of ALGIERS.

A MINUET danced by TWO HORSES.

TUMBLING, ROPE-VAULTING, and Entertainments of the like King, by a Group of Capital Performers.

By desire, the TAYLOR Riding to BRENTFORD, and the Exhibition of the LITTLE CONJURING HORSE.

THE ENGLISH ROSSIGNOL,

Will whistle, julk, and warble in imitation of birds, accompanying a band of music.

To which will be added a new comic Pantomime, in Three Acts, called

HARLEQUIN EMPEROR of the MOON,

With new Scenes, Dresses, Music, and Decorations.

The Pantomime to conclude with a Grand Procession, Dancing, a full Chorus, and a beautiful Representation of the Moon.

The whole to conclude with a New

F I R E - W O R K.

Doors to be opened at Half past Five, and to begin at Half past Six o’clock precisely.

N.B. Mr. ASTLEY begs leave to inform the Nobility, Gentry, and others, that during his short stay in London, he and Assistants will attend every Morning, from Nine till Twelve, for the purpose of instructing more speedily Ladies and Gentlemen in the true and safe method to ride and a complete management of the Horse.
