JOHANNOT’s NIGHT; and the LAST WEEK of the Company performing this Season,
AT the ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE, Westminster Bridge, THIS EVENING, the 21st instant, will be presented (by particular desire) an entirely New Historical Spectacle, called RICHARD THE LYON. After which Mr. Johannot will sing the Tar’s Description of Grinders.—An entire new Grand Ballet, called the Brashaw; or, Eastern Fete; exhibiting the Manners, Costume, &c. of the East, particularly Panorama Views of Constantinople.—In the course of the Evening, Mr. Johannot will sing a new Comic Song, written by C. Dibdin, jun. Music by Broad, called Phelim M’Gluddery and Teddy O’Twigg’s unaccountable Description of a Doldrum.—To conclude with, a Grand Toby Tickler in petto against the threatened French Invasion.—For this Night only, Miss Johannot will dance the celebrated Hornpipe of Madame Parisot, composed by Mr. J. D’Egville, which was introduced in the favourite Ballet of Barbara and Allen, at the King’s Theatre in the Haymarket.—The Call of Diana, a favourite Song, written by Mr. Upton, by Miss Gray.—Horsemanship, by Mr. West. Mr. Ireland will go through his wonderful Performances of Kicking and Jumping.—The whole to conclude with a Grand Comic Pantomime. Harlequin, Mr. Lassels; Clown, Mr. Laurent. In the course of the Pantomime, Mr. Johannot will sing the favourite and much-admired Song, written by Mr. Upton, called The Cries of London.
