THIS EVENING will be presented (new) the last grand spectacle produced by Mons Gougisbus, called The CHILD of MYSTERY, in which the French Company will have the honour to perform. In the course of the evening will be performed the celebrated Overture to Black Beard. An entirely new Musical Piece, (written by C. F. Barrett,) called The INVISIBLE GIRL. In the course of which will be introduced the following new Comic Songs, viz.—Song, Mrs. Weldon. He’s the Man for I, or the Maid’s Resolution—Song, Mr. Wallack, An Irishman’s Cure for Love, or Patrick O’Shannagan’s Description of an Hibernian Serenade, with the Whimsical Accompaniments of Shelalee Trees, Paratas, and Cabbage Stumps—Song, Mr. Johannot, Modern Inventions, or Sit Toby Speculate’s Scheme to obtain a Patent for extending the Canal at Blackwall to the Streights [sic] of Gibraltar, Bullet-Proof Waistcoats, Water-Proof Muslin, Epaulet Traps for Bailiffs, and a Parent Halter for the Benefit of the Monopolist Society—Song Mr. Wallack, Teague O’Fogarty’s Account of his Travels, or Snug Remarks on English Bottoms and French Passports, Parachutes, Trague’s Mistake, Garnerin’s Cat, Phantasmagoria, the Invisible Girl, and the Wapping Docks—Song, Miss Fisher, The Barber’s Courtship, or, an Humorous Dissertation on Shaving, Dressing, Cutting, Bleeding, Crops, Love, Woman and Flattery. The Music composed and selected by Mr. Sanderson. (New) After which Mr. Mercerot’s Grand Ballet of Action, in which his Infant Pupils have given such general satisfaction, called CUPID’s FROLIC. (New) The Irishman’s Epistle to his Friend, written by C. Dibdin, jun. composed by Mr. Sanderson, and to be sung by Mr. Johannot. An entire new Hornpipe, by Miss Johannot, (Pupil to Mr. Mercerot), after the manner of Madame Parisot, accompanied on the Harmonic Bells, by Mr. Lawrence (from the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden.) Mrs. Herbert, from the Royal Circus, will wing a much admired Song, composed by Mr. Carter, called The Heiress.—HORSEMANSHIP, by the inimitable Mr. West.—(Entirely New) A Comic Song, and Recitation, called The Billingsgate Fishmonger, written by Mr. Upton, composed by Mr. Sanderson, and to be Sung by Mr. Masters, (his first appearance at this Theatre.) To conclude with a Grand COMIC PANTOMIME, in which will be introduced a new Ballad, written by Mr. I. G. Ingoll, of the Bank.
