THIS EVENING will be presented an entirely new grand spectacle in three acts, taken from Records of the XIth Century, performed with unbounded applause at the Theatre of the City in Paris, and produced by Mons. Gougisbus, sen. called ZILIA, or the CHILD of MYSTERY. Principal Characters. Leon, Mons. Gougisbus, sen.; Emma, (the Child of Mystery) Miss Fisher; and Zilia, Miss Scott Evans. An entire new serio-comicalPlanxty, called the Bashful Irishman, or the Quandries of Terence Masceud, by Mr. Wallack. Mr. Perry’s Troop (from Bath) will go through their surprising Feats of Horsemanship. In the course of the Evening, Mr. Johannot will sing a new Ditty, written by C. Dibdin, jun. composed by Mr. Sanderson, called The Wig and Whistle, or, a Love Song about Murder. For that night only, a grand Ballet, (never performed at this Theatre) called The MILLER. Principal Dancers, Mons. St. Pierre, (from the Opera House) being his first appearance at this Theatre; Mons. St. Martin, Mons. Roge, Miss Jenkinson, and Madame St. Amand, (from Sadler’s Wells) has kindly condescended to perform for that night only. The Evening’s Entertainments to conclude with the popular Pantomime called The ORACLE; or Harlequin’s Punishment. Columbine, Miss Scott Evans; Clown, Mr. Laurent.
