NEW PANTOMIME.

Royal Amphitheatre (Astley’s) Westminster Bridge.—Under the Patronage of their Royal Highnesses the Prince of WALES and Duke of YORK.

THIS present Monday, June 27th, will be presented, never performed, a grand Comic Pantomime, with extensive new Scenery, Machinery, Mechanical Tricks and Changes, new Dresses, &c. called the GENII’s TOMB, or Harlequin Robber; pourtraying [sic] a variety of whimsical incidents in a Trip to Rome; exhibiting the manners, costumes, &c. of the inhabitants of that City a century back. In the course of the Pantomime, a new loyal and local effusion, by Mr. Johannot, called the Corsican fairy, or England’s Defiance; Columbine, Mrs. Wyrbow, and Clown, Mr. Laurent; the whole of the Scenery designed by Mr. Grieve, and executed by him, Messrs. Clarke, Blackmore, Mortrim, Smith, and Assistants; the Music with a new Overture, by Mr. Lawrence; the Recitative, Songs, Duets, Trios, Chorusses [sic], &c. by Mr. Laurent. Preceding the above, 13th time, the Caledonian Ballet, by Mons. St. Pierre, called the TWO PRISONERS. In the course of the Evening, several Feats of HORSEMANSHIP, by Messrs. Smith and Crossman, &c. being the last week but one of their engagement. The Evening’s Entertainment to conclude with, 25th time, the popular grand Spectacle of MANFRED, or the Castle of Otranto.
