THIS EVENING, Tuesday, August 2, will be presented, an entirely new Ballet Pantomime, with new Dresses, Scenery, composed by M. St. Pierre, called THEY WOULD IF THEY COULD, or the Double Surprise. After which the greatest variety of Horsemanship ever exhibited, by the first Equestrians in Europe, particularly Mr. Crossman will jump over hats, whips, garters, &c. and in a wonderful manner will fly over four boards, the Horse in full speed. After which (19th time) a new Naval and Military Spectacle, called THE INVASION, or All for our Country; pourtraying [sic] the Bravery of Britons, particularly boarding Le Venteux, &c. The Intrepidity of British Tars and the Corsican Fairy. The whole to conclude with (37th time) the Comic Pantomime called HARLEQUIN ROBBER. Clown Mr. Laurent; Columbine Mrs. Wybrow. A Grand Chinese Spectacle is in great forwardness, and will be speedily produced.
