Mr. ASTLEY, sen. arrived in town on Wednesday; he made his escape from France, in company with his two nieces, who were under his protection. Having made his way into Germany, he descended the Rhine, and came over in the last German packet. Of the calamities which had occurred during his absence, the death of his wife, and the destruction of his Theatre, he was uninformed till his arrival in England.
