THIS Evening, Monday, June 25, and every Evening until further notice, will be presented, 7th time, a new Ballet, called The SOLDIER FOR LOVE; in which (for the first time in this country) Mademoiselle Omont, from the National Theatre at Amsterdam, will support two characters, viz. a Savoyard, with a Dance in Wooden Shoes, and a Pas Seul en Espagnole. In the course of the evening, uncommon elevated Dancing on the Tight Rope, by Sieur Saxoni, from Berlin, whose extraordinary Elevation and intricate Manoeuvres have been applauded by every beholder; he will be assisted by the whimsicalities of the Two Clowns. After which, BONAFAISO. In the course of the evening, Mrs. Herbert will sing an entirely new Song, written and composed by Mr. Cecil Pitt, called THE SAILOR’s WIFE. Several Feats of Horsemanship. The whole to conclude with, 1588; or, the SPANISH ARMADA.
