At ASTLEY’s AMPHITHEATRE RIDING-HOUSE,
WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE,
THIS and every Evening during the Summer Season, will be presented,
A very Capital Display of pleasing MANLY FEATS of ACTIVITY on FOOT and HORSEBACK,
With other ENTERTAINMENTS.
The whole under the Inspection and Direction of Mr. ASTLEY.

THE FIRST ACT.
The POLANDER’s Tricks on Chairs, Tables, Ladders, &c.
Many pleasing Feats of
HORSEMANSHIP on a Single HORSE,
By Mr. GRIFFIN.
Turning round like the Fly of a Jack, vaulting from the Ground to the Horse, and from the Horse to the Ground, with both feet from the saddle, picking up several handkerchiefs, keeping his hand and whip along the ground, &c. &c. all on full speed.
THE SECOND ACT.
A droll Display of several Comic Attitudes on Horseback, by Mr. Miller, Clown to the Cavalry.
THE THIRD ACT.
A grand Representation of various Deviors [sic], from Art and Nature, taken from the Exhibition of the Lilliputian World, or Chinese Shadows.
Many Comic Scenes will be exhibited each Night, particularly this Evening a new Piece, representing the taking of St. EUSTATIA, with a View of the ENGLISH FLEAT in full sail.
Between the Acts Comic and Serious DANCING, in different Characters.
In a Manner never exhibited at any other Place.
THE FOURTH ACT.
A great Variety of Feats of Manly Agility on Horseback, by Mr. JONES.
Vaulting on a single Horse, flies over a Leaping-bar, together with several Feats of Horsemanship on Two Horses, as the Horses leap the bar, &c. &c.
In this Part of the Exhibition the Clown displays several Comic Attitudes.
THE FIFTH ACT.
A fine Display of HORSEMANSHIP, in the greatest Perfection, on Three Horses.
By Mr. GRIFFIN, Mr. JONES, Mr. MILLER, and Miss HUDSON.
THE SIXTH ACT.
AGILITY on FOOT.
A most extraordinary Representation of every Feat of Activity on Foot, commonly called
TUMBLING.
That have been exhibited at the most capital Places of public Entertainment in Holland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, &c. In short, no other Place ever exhibited, at one Time, the like, and this in a constant Succession.
Also the Grand TRAMPOLINE FEATS of ACTIVITY,
never exhibited at any other Place,

The GREAT DEVIL.
THE SEVENTH ACT.
An Equilibrium on the Perpendicular MOVING LADDER, by Mr. RICHER.
After which Mr. and Mrs. WILKINSON will play several Favourite Airs on a double set of Musical Glasses.
THE EIGHTH ACT.
HORSEMANSHIP on TWO HORSES,
by Mr. JONES.
In this Performance great Agility is displayed, such as vaulting from Horse to Horse on full speed.
THE NINTH ACT.
Slack-rope Vaulting, on full swing,
By Mr. DAWSON.
THE TENTH ACT.
The Egyptian Pyramids, or Men piled on Men.
THE ELEVENTH ACT.
Comic Horsemanship on Two Horses,
By Mr. MILLER, the Clown.
Notwithstanding this Part of the Exhibition is allotted for the Clown, yet he displays such a Variety of droll Attitudes, which cannot fail to render it both pleasing and astonishing.
Between the Parts of Horsemanship, the English ROSSINGAL will Whistle the Notes of Various Birds.
The Whole concludes with a droll Piece of
HORSEMANSHIP BURLESQUED,
Or, The TAYLOR riding the Dancer and Road Horse,
With many Alterations and Additions.
Places for the Boxes to be taken at the Amphitheatre.
Mr. ASTLEY respectfully informs the Nobility, Gentry, and other, that no place can be kept, unless their servants punctually attend at half past five o’clock.
N.B. Ladies and Gentlemen instructed to ride on horseback.
