Since Monday evening, the Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, has been crowded with admiring and fashionable visitants. This, at so early a period of the season, might in some manner appear irregular; but when the peculiar attractions of this place are considered, while the first Performers, perhaps, to be found any where, are engaged to do the several pieces in representation justice (and, by way of sample, we will name a few of them, Crossman, Smith, Richer, Bologna, Laurent, Mr. and Mrs. Astley, Mrs. Parker, &c. &c.) we may say, and with much truth, that the Royal Amphitheatre promises to prove the leading-star of attraction during the summer.
