“The Arab,” or “The Freebooter of the Desart,” [sic] the name of the grand Spectacle, presented, for the first time, at the Royal Amphitheatre, yesterday evening, et with a reception of such a nature from an Audience so numerous and fashionable, as to remind us of the Drawing-room held in the course of the day, that we make no hesitation in saying that the Arab, and his daring banditti, promised to lay a contribution on the curiosity and pockets of John bulls, far beyond any set of marauders since the robberies commdetty [sic] he iqt [sic] “Forty Thieves.”
