Grand Regatta.—Scullers Wager.
ASTLEY’s 21st Annual Wherry, given in honour of his Majesty’s Birth day, will be rowed for THIS DAY, in Two Heats, by Six Watermen, who have already won a Prize Wherry; to start each heat with the tide from Westminster Bridge, row round a Boat moored off Cumberland Gardens, return on the Surrey side, now round the Beacon facing Hungerford, and return through the centre Arch of Westminster Bridge: to start at Four o’clock precisely; the 1st, 2d, and 3d Boats of the above rowing the distance the first heat, will start at Five o’clock for the Prize Wherry; the Winner will receive the Prize Wherry at Half past Six in the Amphitheatre, accompanied by a Martial Band. After which Horsemanship by Mr. Edgecombe and the two Master Davis’s; the War Spectacle of THE ARAB, with its general attack, on real horses; the Hunted Tailor; Mr. Richer’s Tight Rope Dancing, and the Harlequinade of FAIRY LAND.—Second price half past eight.
