The great overflow of Company from the Royal Amphitheatre for some nights past, and that before the hour of seven o’clock, is a convincing proof of the interest which almost every person in some manner takes in the fall of the Island of Walcheren to the British Arms; more especially the glory with which every Seaman, as well as Soldier, were immortalized by the siege and capture of Flushing—so finely, so faithfully, and indeed animatedly depicted throughout the whole representation of this Piece at ASTLEY’s.
