This Evening, the popula [sic], Grand, Equestrian and Pedestrian Spectacle, called THE BLOOD RED KNIGHT; or The Fatal Bridge. The Spectacle concludes with an Attack by Land and Water on the Usurper’s Castle, and his Defeat by Warriors on real Horses, some of which are immersed in Water. A variety of Horsemanship, particularly by Mr. Makeen (his first appearance these three years); Clown, Mr. Crossman. To conclude with a Comic Pantomime called HARLEQUIN LAPLANDER; or The Beat of the Mountain. Harlequin, Mr. J. Bryson; Lover, Mr. Davis; Old Man, Mr. Collet; Ignoso, Mr. Rose; Titania, Miss Blomgreen; Clown, Mr. Southby (his first appearance in that character); and Columbine, Mrs. Parker.

In order to keep up a constant succession of variety, the popular Spectacle of The Blood Red Knight will be performed every evening this week, with Harlequin Laplander; and on the following week with The Discovery; or Harlequin’s Salutation.
