We are desired to inform the Nobility, Gentry and others, that Mr. Astley, at the Foot of Westminster Bridge, is determined to leave off exhibiting his amazing Feats of Activity (which have never been performed but by himself) when he leaves this Kingdom, as he has taught the celebrated Mr. Griffith, Cosmethopula, &c. to exhibit his Feats much superior than any in Europe, tho’ an Attempt is made to imitate him, but fall much short, and only serve as a Burlesque to the English Warrior. Mr. Astley after this Season intends only to act as Manager, therefore those Gentlemen and Ladies that are fond of that much admired Exhibition on Horseback are requested not to miss this Opportunity. Mr. Astley will exhibit this and every Evening till he leaves the Kingdom, Notice of which will be given in this Paper.
