THIS EVENING, April 15, will be presented an entirely new Grand, Naval, Military, Equestrian and Pedestrian Spectacle, partly founded on circumstances stated to have occurred at Algiers, with augmented incidents, &c. called The TRYANT SARACEN and the NOBLE MOOR. Principal Characters: Juba, the Saracen, Mr. Collett; Abdalla, the Moor, Mr. Astley, jun. and Zulima, Mrs. Astley. Saracens, Caval and Infantry; Moors, Cavalry and Infantry; Mooriah and Saracen Inhabitants, Dancers, Attendants, Caolers, Banner Bearers, &c. by the rest of the Company, and a numerous train of Auxiliaries, expressly engaged for the occasion. The following is part of the new Scenery: the Bay of Algiers, Rocks and distant view of Algiers, the Saracen’s Banqueting Saloon, the Moor’s Grand Marquee, Zulina’s Chamber, Angle of the Saracen’s Castle, exterior and interior of Criminal’s Cells, a ruinated Monastery, the Bay and City of Tunis, African Landscape, the Moor’s Castle and Domain, and lastly the Saracean’s Cavalry and Infantry, Ambuscade, &c. general attack and defeat of the Saracen Troops of Horse and Foot. Extraordinary agility by the most celebrated Equestrians. To conclude with an entirely new Comic Pantomime, founded on Ovid’s Fable of Jupiter and Europa, with 16 new Scenes and extensive Machinery; Mechanical Changes, &c. called HARLEQUIN’s AMOUR. Jupiter, afterwards Harlequin, Mr. Bryson; Mercury, afterwards Scaramouch, Mr. Usher; Saturn, Mr. Jones; Agenor, afterwards Pantaloon, Mr. Boulanger; Cadmus, afterwards Clown, Mr. Southby; Juno, Mrs. Wallack; and Europa, as Columbine, Miss Taylor.—No money returned.—Places taken at the Amphitheatre from ten until three, and which cannot be kept after seven o’clock.
