Under the immediate Patronage of their Royal Highnesses the Prince Regent, and Duke of York.

This present Evening will be presented, at Half past Six precisely, (1st time at this Theatre, and by most especial desire), a Military Prelude, called LISBON; or, Ruse de Guerre on the Banks of the Tagus; in which Pieces will be introduced a Sketch of General Massena’s quick retreat from Portugal, and the spirited pursuit and attack by the British Army, &c. commanded by the gallant Lord Wellington; also the glorious Battle and Defeat of the gallant Lord Wellington; also the glorious Battle and Defeat of the French Army under Marshal Soult, by part of the Allied Army, commanded by the Marshal Beresford, at Albuera, on the 16th of May, in the former’s furious attempt to relieve Badajos in Spain. After which, the Grand Naval, Military, Equestrian, and Pedestrian Spectacle, called The TYRANT SARACEN, and the NOBLE MOOR, in which Piece Twenty Horses, caparisoned in the Moorish Costume, trained to Stage action, will perform surprising feats, the whole producing superior theatrical effect, in a nouvelle point of view.—Divers exercises by 12 celebrated Equestrians.—To which will be added, the favourite Pantomime of HARLEQUIN’s AMOUR, or Jupiter and Europa.
