Under the immediate Patronage of their Royal Highnesses the Prince Regent and Duke of York.
This present Evening, Monday, 22d of July, at Half past Six precisely, a Military Piece, called LISBON; or, Ruse de Guerre on the Banks of the Tagus. After which, the Popular Grand Naval, Military, Equestrian, and Pedestrian Spectacle, called The TYRANT SARACEN, and the NOBLE MOOR. In which piece twenty Horses perform surprising feats. Divers Exercises by Twelve celebrated Equestrians. A new Song, written by Mr. Upton, composed by Mr. W. Parke, and sung by Mr. Jones, called ‘The Miller’s Maid.’ To conclude with, 13th time, an entirely new Comic Pantomime, produced by Mr. Bologna, jun. with new Scenery, Machinery, Decorations, &c. &c. called THE MANDARIN; or, Harlequin in China.
Terminating with a superb and brilliant Chinese Temple.—Places to be taken at the Amphitheatre, from ten till three o’clock, which cannot be kept longer than till half past seven.
In consequence of an unforeseen accident having happened to the apparatus which conveys the Flying Harlequin round the dome of the Theatre, the Pantomime of Harlequin’s Amour cannot possibly be performed before Monday next, and will be repeated every alternate week with Harlequin in China.
