Mrs. ASTLEY’s BENEFIT.
Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster Bridge.—Under the immediate Patronage of their Royal Highnesses the Prince Regent and Duke of York.
MRS. ASTLEY begs most respectfully to announce, that her BENEFIT will take place THIS EVENING, Monday, the 14th of October, when she solicits the annual patronage of her Friends, and the Public in general, trusting that her consaul [sic] and unremitting exertions in her professional duties every night, during the present season, will, in some measure, insure her a continuation of those favours which, on similar occasions, she has ever has the honour to experience. At half past six precisely, by most particular desire, a Picturesque Ballet of Action, called LISBON; or Warfare in Portugal and Spain; exhibiting 12 Scenes, taken from correct drawings, shewing the present situation of the Allied Armies, French Out-posts, &c. After which, the popular Grand Equestrian Spectacle, called The TYRANT SARACEN and the NOBLE MOOR. Principal Characters Mr. and Mrs. Astley. A new Song, called “The Village Maid,” by Mr. Jones. Equestrian Exercises by 12 celebrated Horsemen. To conclude with a new Comic Pantomime, called THE FAIRY OF THE OAK; or, Harlequin’s Regatta.
