FATAL ACCIDENT.—Yesterday a curious occurrence took place at ASTLEY’s Theatre, which, we regret to say, terminated the existence of a very respectable sadler, of the name of STEVENSON, who keeps a shop a little below the Theatre. The celebrated Stag, well known by the name of Zephir, having been kept up since the close of the Theatre last season, had got very fat, and, as it appears, vicious. Mr. PARKER was desirous that the collar which it wore should be extended in its dimensions, and sent for Mr. STEVENSON for that purpose, and shocking to relate, that upon his approaching the animal it ran furiously at him, and gored him in the abdominal parts. Mr. S bled so copiously, that he expired in a quarter of an hour, not withstanding medical assistance was immediately restored to.
