Mr. SANETTA, inventor of the many pleasing Devices exhibited in the CHINESE SHADOWS, at Mr. ASTLEY’s Riding School, Westminster-Bridge, Begs leave to inform the Nobility, Gentry, and others, that his Benefit will be THIS EVENING (Tuesday, October 16, 1781.) Several singular Pieces of Curious Mechanism will be exhibited in the Shadows, particularly a very extraordinary Representation (by Shadows) of the Amphitheatre at Madrid, with the Bull-beating, as performed before the Court of Spain: This Piece will only be exhibited this Night, being the Mechanick’s [sic] own Property, the only Piece of Mechanism of the sort in Europe. To conclude with the Battle between the ENGLISH and DUTCH FLEETS. The many extraordinary Feats of Activity on Foot and Horseback, as usual.---Admittance, Boxes, 2s. 6d. Upper Box, 1s. 6d. Pit and Gall. 1s. Doors to be opened at Half past Five, and to begin at Half past Six o’Clock precisely.
