THIS EVENING, Wednesday, 1st of May, (by Permission of the Proprietors of the Theatre Royal Covent Garden) the Grand Equestrian Burletta Spectacle, called, the SECRET MINE; assisted by the United Stud of Horses; Horsemanship, by Mr. Makeen, his third appearance at this Theatre; Clown’s Act, by Mr. Brown; GYMNASTIC EXERCISES, by a Venetian (his fifteenth appearance in England,) and for twenty-four nights only, who, by his uncommon and really almost incredible Tourbillions, &c. in the Air, has been denominated on the Continent “Il Diavolo Antonio!” A Comic Song, by Mr. Stebbing. To conclude with an entirely new Serio Comic Harlequinade, called RIQUET with the TUFT, or Dewdrop and Rosebud; Harlequin, Mr. Ridgeway; Pantaloon, Mr. Daly; Lover, Mr. Fillingham; Clown, Mr. Bristow; and Columbine, Miss Adams.
