ASTLEY’S THEATRE.—This house was crowded by motley groups, who seemed desirous of expressing their loyal in every possible way. The National Anthem and ‘Rule of Britannia,’ were called for and played, after Mazeppa, which was acted, we believe, the 105th time. Ducrow gave his scenes in the circles, in which he acted his “Tar’s vicissitudes,” on his favourite horse, to the delight of all. The Elephant, and the Harlequinade of Mother Red Cap, concluded the entertainments of the evening.—When they had ended, many of the company flocked to Vauxhall Gardens, where they kept up to a late hour the unusual festivities of the day.
