MASTER ASTLEY’s NIGHT,

This present Evening, October 24, 1781.—At the Amphitheatre Riding-House, Westminster-Bridge, will be presented ALL Sorts of AGILITY ONN FOOT AND HORSEBACK, particularly several new and pleasing Scenes in that curious Exhibition of the CHINESE SHADOWS: Likewise Master ASTLEY will go through VARIOUS SURPRISING new ATTITUDES of DANCING on a Single Horse; the Invention is quite new, and has been thought by every horseman in England, Germany, and France impracticable. Master ASTLEY is so far advanced in the MENAGE, as to perform comic and serious Dancing on full speed; particularly, this Evening, the Devonshire Minuet, and many Attitudes of excellent Horsemanship in a most astonishing manner. Master ASTLEY also plays the Violin standing on a Single Horse, without holding the Bridle-Reins (on a good Gallop). Also, displays a Flag in a variety of Attitudes, He likewise performs many Devices on Two Horses with great elegance.—If the Management of the Horses through all its various, useful, and extensive Parts, can boast of publick [sic] utility, Master ASTLEY stands unrivalled.

Mr. ASTLEY, between the parts of Horsemanship, will display the BROAD-SWORD as in real Action, in the different Attitudes, OFFENSIVE and DEFENSIVE. Many FEATS of ACTIVITY, both on FOOT and HORSEBACK, by other Capital Performers.
